Connect Google Ads conversion uploads

Create an import-from-clicks conversion action and connect it through the uploader or scheduled CSV feed.

Create the conversion action

  1. In Google Ads, go to Goals, Conversions, then New conversion action.
  2. Choose Import, then From clicks.
  3. Keep the conversion action ID available.

Give the uploader access

  1. On the Google card in TrackVerity, copy the uploader email.
  2. In Google Ads, go to Admin, then Access and security.
  3. Add the uploader as a Standard user.

Add Google Ads

  1. Select Add Pixel on the Google card.
  2. Enter the conversion action ID.
  3. Enter the 10-digit Google Ads customer ID without dashes.
  4. Save the channel. No merchant API token is required.

Scheduled CSV alternative

If you prefer not to grant account access, open Prefer no access? Use the CSV feed. TrackVerity generates a feed URL, username, and password. Add them in Google Ads under Goals, Conversions, Uploads, and Schedules.

Timing and attribution

  • Google conversion uploads require a captured gclid. Orders without a gclid cannot use the current Google adapter.
  • Google relays wait until the click is at least 13 hours old because Google can reject conversions while a recent click is still processing.
  • The dashboard test uses Google's validation-only mode and does not record a real conversion.
