Connect TikTok Events API

Add your TikTok pixel code and merchant-generated Events API token.

Generate the token

  1. In TikTok Events Manager, open the relevant pixel.
  2. Go to Settings and generate an Events API access token.
  3. Keep the token private.

Add the pixel

  1. Open the TrackVerity store and find the TikTok Ads card.
  2. Select Add Pixel.
  3. Enter a name, the TikTok pixel code, and the Events API access token.
  4. Save the pixel.

Prevent duplicate events

TrackVerity sends CompletePayment with the order ID as event_id. If the store's TikTok Shopify channel also sends server-side purchase events, change that integration to browser-pixel-only before relying on TrackVerity's server event. Verify the result with one controlled order.

Delivery and errors

  • Purchase relays normally wait about 15 minutes.
  • TOKEN INVALID means the access token is missing, expired, or rejected.
  • Use a controlled order and TikTok Events Manager to verify the current setup.
